Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from ‘Ata’ ibn al-Sa’ib, from al-Sha’bi, who said: He was asked about the garment in which one has intercourse: "Should one pray in it?" He said: "Yes." I said: "Should I sprinkle it with water?" He said: "No, you will only increase its stench."
