Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Husayn ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Ubayd Allah ibn Abd Allah ibn Utbah, who said: Ibn Mas’ud used to recite the Quran every three [days], and he rarely sought help during the day.
