Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, from Mu'awiyah ibn Salih, who said: Musa ibn Yazid informed me, saying: I asked Abu Umamah about the middle prayer, and he said: I do not consider it to be anything other than the dawn (subh) prayer.
