Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Shu’bah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from ‘Umayr ibn Nu’aym, he said: I heard Ibn ‘Abbas saying: "Guard strictly the prayers and the middle prayer," [it is] the ‘Asr prayer.
