Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Yunus narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Umayr ibn Fuhaym al-Taghlibi, from Sharik ibn Hanbal al-‘Absi, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Whoever eats this foul vegetable, let him not approach our mosque," meaning garlic.
