Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Jarir ibn Hazim al-Azdi narrated to us, from Qatadah, who said: Anas was asked about the recitation of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and he said: "He used to extend his voice with an extension."
