Jarir narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, who said: Alqama recited the Quran in one night in Mecca. He performed Tawaf around the House seven times, then came to the Maqam (Station of Ibrahim) and prayed at it, and he recited the Mi'in (surahs with about one hundred verses). Then he performed Tawaf seven times, then came to the Maqam and prayed at it, and he recited the Mathani (surahs following the Mi'in). Then he performed Tawaf seven times, then came to the Maqam and prayed at it, and he recited the remainder of the Quran.
