Hadith 3:6433
8810. 'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Mahmud ibn al-Rabi', from 'Itban ibn Malik that he said: "O Messenger of Allah, the floods come between me and the mosque of my people, so I would like for you to come and pray in a place in my house that I take as a mosque." The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "We shall do so." He said: "When the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) reached the morning, he went early to Abu Bakr and took him along. When the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) entered, he said: 'Where do you want?' I pointed out to him a corner of the house. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) stood up, and we lined up behind him, and he prayed two rak'ahs with us."
