Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from ‘Ata’, from Sa‘id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn ‘Abbas, who said: Hands are not to be raised except in seven places: when he stands for prayer, when he sees the House (the Ka‘bah), at al-Safa and al-Marwah, at ‘Arafat, at Jam‘ (Muzdalifah), and at the Jamarat.
