Hadith 3:983
'Abdah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn 'Amr, from Yahya ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Hatib, who said: When 'Umar would descend from the market, he would pass by al-Shifa' bint 'Abd Allah. He passed by her one day in Ramadan and said, "Where is Sulayman, her son?" She said, "He is sleeping." He said, "And did he not witness the morning prayer?" She said, "No, he stood [in prayer] with the people all night." Then he [Sulayman] came, and he [Umar] struck his head and said, "Witnessing the morning prayer is more beloved to me than standing [in prayer] for a night until the morning."
