Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1074

Abdah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Sa’id, from Qatadah, from Urwah, from Sa’id ibn Jubayr, regarding a man who has wounds, sores, or an illness, and he becomes in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah), and it is difficult for him to perform the ritual bath (ghusl). He said: He shall perform tayammum.
