Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from ‘Ata’, and from Hammad, from Ibrahim and Sa‘id ibn Jubayr, regarding the menstruating woman and the person in a state of major ritual impurity (junub): They may begin the beginning of a verse, but they do not complete its end.
