Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:119

Waki’ narrated to us, from Isra’il, from ‘Abd al-A’la, from Ibn al-Hanafiyyah, who said: I saw him wipe the sides of his beard and his cheeks, and he did not comb through them [with his fingers].
