Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1211

Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from his father, who said: When Muhammad bin Abd al-Rahman bin Yazid would enter the privy and he had dirhams with him, he would give them to a person to hold for him until he performed wudu.
