Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1349

Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, from al-Ala’ ibn al-Musayyab, from al-Hakam, from Abu Ja’far, that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) commanded the woman experiencing prolonged bleeding (mustahada) that when her days of menstruation have passed, she should perform ghusl (full ablution), perform wudu (ablution) for every prayer, and pray.
