Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1350

Jarir narrated to us, from Mughira, from al-Sha'bi, that the wife of Masruq asked Aisha about the woman experiencing prolonged bleeding (mustahada). She said: "She performs ablution for every prayer, uses a pad (ihtasha), and prays."
