Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1370

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hafs narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from ‘Ata’, from Ibn ‘Abbas, that he made this water container, and he knew that the black and the white [people] perform ablution from it. He said: And the water from the people’s ablution used to pour into its interior. So I asked ‘Ata’, and he said: "There is no harm in it."
