Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1399

Waki’ narrated to us, from Mughira ibn Ziyad, from ‘Ata’, from Ibn ‘Abbas, who said: Whoever sleeps while he is sitting, then there is no ablution upon him. And if he lies down, then upon him is the ablution.
