Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1403

Isma'il ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, from Shurahbil ibn Muslim and Muhammad ibn Ziyad al-Alhani, they both said: Abu Umamah used to sleep while he was sitting until he was full of sleep, then he would stand and pray, and he would not perform ablution.
