Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1417

Narrated to us Abdullah ibn Idris, from Layth, from Tawus, that he was asked about a man who sleeps while he is sitting. He said: "It is only a tie (wika'), so if you loosen it, [meaning he says] he must perform ablution."
