Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1444

Ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from his father, from al-Hakam, who said: If there is a wound on the hand or the foot, and its owner fears that if water touches it, he should wipe over the rag when he performs wudu.
