Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1470

Ubayd Allah ibn Musa narrated to us, from Hanzala, from Tawus, that he did not see any harm in blood. The questioner asked about wudu, and he said: "Wash the blood off of it," then he considered it sufficient.
