Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1499

Ali bin Hashim narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: We used to consider it desirable to take from the water of the pond and perform ghusl (ritual washing) with it in a secluded area.
