Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1511

1511. Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Habib ibn Shihab, from his father, that he asked Abu Hurayrah about the leftover water of a cistern which beasts of prey frequent and from which the donkey drinks. He said: "Nothing makes water impure."
