Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1544

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Ibn Abi ‘Arubah, from Qatadah, from Jabir ibn Zayd, that he used to come from a state of ritual impurity (hadath), then sit in the mosque before performing ablution.
