Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1592

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from Salim, from Kurayb, from Ibn Abbas, from Maymunah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was brought a towel, but he did not touch it. He began to do this with the water, meaning he was shaking it off.
