Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1627

Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, from Ibn al-Mubarak, from Ma’mar, from al-Zuhri, that Umar ibn al-Khattab used water to clean himself [after defecation] between his palms. He said: So the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, began to laugh and say, "He performs ablution like a woman."
