Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1663

Ali bin Hashim narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from al-Minhal, from Abbad bin Abdullah, from Ali regarding: {Nor [while] in a state of janabah, except those passing through [a place of worship]}. He said: The passerby who does not find water performs tayammum and prays.
