Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1673

Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Nafi’, that Ibn ‘Umar performed tayammum in the camel pen (mirbad al-na‘am). He struck the ground with his hands, then wiped his face with them. Then he struck the ground with them another time, and wiped his hands with them up to the elbows.
