Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1718

Ubayd Allah ibn Musa narrated to us, from Ja'far ibn Burqan, from al-Zuhri, regarding an animal that falls into a well. He said: "If the taste of the water and its smell have not changed, then I do not see any harm in the water. But if the taste of the water and its smell have changed, they should draw from it until the water becomes good."
