Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1793

Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Tamimi, from Ibn Abbas, who said: We used to be commanded to use the siwak until we thought that something would be revealed regarding it.
