Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1798

Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Wasil, from Abu Surah, the nephew of Abu Ayyub, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to use the siwak (tooth stick) many times during the night.
