Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:184

Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Malik ibn Mighwal, from Zubayd al-Yami, from al-Sha’bi, who said: Gabriel descended with [the instruction of] wiping over the feet.
