Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hushaym ibn Bashir narrated to us, he said: Dawud ibn Amr informed us, from Busr ibn Abdullah al-Hadrami, from Abu Idris al-Khawlani, he said: Awf ibn Malik al-Ashja'i narrated to us that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) commanded the wiping over the leather socks (khuffayn) during the expedition of Tabuk for three days and their nights for the traveler, and for one day and one night for the resident.
