Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1877

Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from ‘Amr ibn Wahb al-Thaqafi, from al-Mughirah ibn Shu’bah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to relieve himself, and he was wearing a tight-sleeved Syrian cloak. He brought his hand out from underneath it, and he washed his face and his hands, and he wiped over his forelock, and he wiped over his leather socks.
