Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1880

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, from Abu Malik al-Ashja'i, from Abu Hazim, from Ibn Umar, that Umar ibn al-Khattab said regarding wiping over the leather socks: "For the traveler, three [days], and for the resident, a day until the night."
