Hushaym narrated to us, he said: Mu'awiyah informed us, from Ibrahim, who said: Jarir ibn Abdullah used to wipe over the khuffayn (leather socks). He said: And it was more pleasing to me, because the Islam of Jarir was only after the revelation of [Surah] al-Ma'idah.
