Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1917

Hushaym narrated to us, from Ubaydah, from Ibrahim, who said: Those who wiped over the leather socks (khuffayn) from the companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, were: Umar ibn al-Khattab, Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas, Ibn Mas’ud, Abu Mas’ud al-Ansari, Hudhayfah, al-Mughirah ibn Shu’bah, and al-Bara’ ibn ‘Azib.
