Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:1926

Ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Salamah ibn Kuhayl, from Ibrahim al-Taymi, from al-Harith ibn Suwayd, from Abdullah, who said: "Three [days and nights] for the traveler, and a day and a night for the resident." He said: And al-Harith said: "I do not take off my leather socks until I come to my bed."
