Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Isa al-Ramli narrated to us, from Razin, who said: A man came to Abu Ja’far and said to him: "I go out on a rainy night and I step in the mud." He said: "Pray." He said: "I fear that there is stench and filth in it." It was as if he became angry, and he said: "If you step in the stench—the mud—with your feet, then take water with you and wash your feet with it."
