Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:2035

Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from al-Hakam, who said: Ali used to wade through the mud of the rain, and he would enter the mosque and pray, and he would not perform ablution.
