Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:208

208. Abdullah ibn Idris narrated to us, from Ibn Ajlan, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from Ata ibn Yasar, from Ibn Abbas, that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, scooped a handful [of water] and wiped his head and his ears.
