Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:325

Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, he said: Malik ibn Anas informed us, he said: Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talhah al-Ansari informed me, from Humaydah bint Ubayd ibn Rafi, from Kabshah bint Ka'b—and she was married to one of the children of Abu Qatadah—that she poured water for Abu Qatadah to perform ablution with. A cat came and drank from it, so he tilted the vessel for it. She said: I began to look at him. He said: "Are you surprised, O daughter of my brother?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is not impure; it is among those who roam about among you (the male or female roamers)."
