Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:447

Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Khalid, from Abu Qilabah, that ‘Umar saw a man praying who had left [a spot] on the back of his foot [the size of] a fingernail [unwashed]. He ordered him to repeat his ablution and his prayer.
