Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:512

Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Humayd, from Abu al-‘Aliyah, that Abu Musa slaughtered a camel and fed his companions. Then they stood up to pray without having performed ablution (wudu). He forbade them from that and said, "I do not care if I walked in its dung and its blood and did not perform ablution, or if I ate from its meat and did not perform ablution."
