Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:524

Hushaym narrated to us, he said: Jabir al-Ju'fi informed us, from Abu Ja'far, from Ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) went out intending to pray. He passed by a pot that was boiling, so he took a piece of meat or a shoulder from it and ate it. Then he rinsed his mouth and did not perform ablution.
