Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:61

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah informed us, from ‘Amr ibn Zuhayr, from Sumay’, from Abu Umamah, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) performed ablution (wudu). He washed his hands three times, rinsed his mouth and inhaled water (into his nose) three times each, and performed the (rest of the) ablution three times each.
