Hadith 1:64

Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn ‘Ajlan, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from ‘Ata’ ibn Yasar, from Ibn ‘Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) performed ablution. He scooped a handful of water, rinsed his mouth with it, and blew water from his nose. Then he scooped a handful of water and washed his face. Then he scooped a handful of water and washed his right hand. Then he scooped a handful of water and washed his left hand. Then he scooped a handful of water and wiped his head and his ears, [inserting] his two index fingers into their interior, and he crossed his two thumbs to the exterior of his ears, so he wiped their interior and their exterior. Then he scooped a handful of water and washed his right foot. Then he scooped a handful of water and washed his left foot.
