Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:670

Narrated to us Ibn ‘Ulayyah, Ghundar, and Waki‘, from Shu‘bah, from al-Hakam, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from ‘Aishah, who said: When the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was in a state of major ritual impurity (junub) and wished to eat or sleep, he would perform ablution (wudu).
