Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:672

Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Nafi‘ and Abu Qilabah, they both said: ‘Umar asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) for a legal ruling: "May one of us sleep while he is in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity)?" He said: "He should perform wudu (ablution) and sleep." Ayyub said: "I think that in the hadith of Abu Qilabah, there is [the mention of] washing the private part."
